Founded in 1978 by Jon and Dorothy Gustafson in Boone, Iowa, The GSI Company initially focused on serving the food and seed industries by providing processing equipment for improved manufacturing and storage capabilities.

After we incorporated in 1980, our company expanded rapidly, and we established ourselves as trusted partners for our clients and the equipment we provide.

We work closely with our manufacturers to insure our range of industrial products comes with the service our customers expect.

Today, headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, with a dedicated team of four outside salespeople and two inside sales staff, GSI continues its mission of making engineers' jobs easier.

Our coverage has grown to include Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas, as well as our home state of Iowa. We collaborate closely with our customers to provide tailored solutions in material handling across various projects.

From our humble beginnings knocking on doors at Quaker Oats more than 40 years ago to becoming a pivotal player in industrial equipment sales and process engineering, GSI remains committed to innovation and customer satisfaction in all our partnerships.
